Expert Witness – Neonatal Medical
In select cases involving long-term neonatal disability or catastrophic injury, I develop neonatal-focused life care plans that account for future medical, developmental, and therapeutic needs. With nearly a decade of experience in Level III and IV NICUs, I provide expert clinical insight for legal teams handling complex neonatal medical malpractice, personal injury, and birth trauma cases.
As a board-certified Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (RNC-NIC) and Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate specializing in neonatal care, I’ve led critical care teams through high-acuity scenarios involving ELGANs, HIE, surgical neonates, therapeutic hypothermia, and seizure management. I am trained in advanced neonatal procedures including intubation, umbilical line placement, thoracentesis, and neonatal resuscitation.
I completed formal Legal Nurse Consultant training through the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC), equipping me to deliver clear, evidence-based assessments rooted in current clinical standards and neonatal-specific best practices.
My goal is to support attorneys and expert witnesses with accurate, high-impact case evaluations, expert chart review, and litigation support informed by frontline NICU experience.
